Specialty Installation Processes

Office Furniture Lift System

Our lift system allows replacement of existing broadloom and carpet tile in the occupied office environment. The process avoids the costly process of dismantling and moving office furniture. It also allows the carpet to be replaced without disconnecting existing data or electrical wires that reside within the furniture systems.

Valley Forge Commercial Flooring will simply lift your existing furniture and replace the carpet beneath. Our lifting system has specialized fittings that work with most furniture systems. We perform work at night, weekends and other non-business hours to ensure that we eliminate any employee downtime. Our installation process will allow your business to reduce your its overall project costs by eliminating furniture and electrical services while preserving employee productivity.

We will analyze your existing space and furniture systems and work with your facility manager to develop a customized plan that works for your business.

Gondola Train™

We work with Gondola Train™ to provide mobility solutions for retail gondola shelving units on all types of flooring.

Commercial Warranty Services

Valley Forge Commercial Flooring performs a variety of warranty services for commercial flooring manufactures. We can be engaged by either the flooring manufacturer, flooring dealer and directly by the end-user to complete these services. The services we offer include:

Carpet Tile Back Bending

Process includes the pick-up of the existing carpet tile, which is run through one of our back-bending machines. The floor is then re-glued and the carpet is reinstalled.  The carpet tile back-bending process will improve the carpets backing stability and, when completed in conjunction with the re-glue process, will allow the carpet to remain flat on the flooring surface.

We often repair carpet tile in the occupied office environment using our office furniture “lift” system.

Micro Shearing

The micro shearing process is required when a tip shear product shows a texture inconsistency appearing at the seam due to shearing differences.  The inconsistency can be remedied by random shearing a few feet outward from the seam.  The outcome is to visually blend the cut and loop texture.
